The recently-formed Buffalo-Niagara ISoP Chapter is excited to announce its first ever local event, which will feature a social reception with opportunities to network with members of local academic and research institutions such as UB and Roswell Park Cancer Institute, various contract research organizations (Simulations Plus, ICPD and ePD) and other regional biotech companies such as Athenex.
Dr. Donald E. Mager will provide an opening welcome, followed by keynote presentations by local and guest speakers. Dr. Gary Rosner will be visiting the University at Buffalo and will provide an overview of the emerging role of the Statistics and Pharmacometrics Interest Group (SxP) in ISoP and interactions with the American Statistical Association (ASA). Dr. Dhaval Shah, who serves as an associate professor at the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences will also discuss his experiences in developing predictive systems models for novel biotherapeutics, including antibody-drug conjugates.

6:15 pm – 6:30 pm Welcome and Introduction by Dr. Scott Van Wart and past ISoP President Donald E. Mager
6:30 pm – 7:00 pm Lecture by Dr. Gary Rosner, entitled, “Role of Statistics and Pharmacometrics Interest Group (SxP) in ISoP and with the American Statistical Association”
7:00 pm – 7:30 pm Lecture by Dr. Dhaval Shah, entitled, “Development of Predictive Systems Pharmacokinetics Models for Novel Biotherapeutics”
7:30 pm – 8:00 pm Wrap up and networking
